A NEW 100-seater stand at Buckhurst Hill Football Club will be officially opened before the biggest game in the club’s history - its first appearance in the FA Vase on Saturday, September 11.
The stand will be followed by the installation of floodlights at the Roding Lane club, which is experiencing its first season at senior level having been promoted into the Thurlow Nunn League First Division South this season.
Club chairman Simon Cornwell said: “We are delighted that the next piece of the jigsaw for the long-term future of the club has been completed with the installation of our new stand. This is yet another piece of history for the club.
“We would like to thank Alderdale, the stand’s suppliers, and Sports Ground Development for their consultancy throughout this process.
“It would be wonderful to have a full house at Roding Lane and to see the community get behind their local football club.”
