A site manager has been awarded for his "high standard of work" at a Harlow housing development.
Keiron Ingram, who works at Base at Newhall, was one of two Vistry Group site managers to win a Pride in the Job Quality Award this year.
The awards, run by the National House Building Council (NHBC), recognise site managers who achieve the very highest standards in construction.
Each candidate is judged on a wide range of criteria, including attention to detail, leadership, technical expertise, and health and safety.
Mr Ingram, 33, from the Isle of Sheppey, said: "This award is not just for me but also for the whole team that works on site.
"We have strong relationships with all the trade and site teams working on the homes and I ensure that attention is paid to the smallest details, to make sure the homes we deliver are of the highest quality."
The other winner, Daniel Storey, is responsible for the team at St Michael's Hurst in Bishop's Stortford.
He said: "The efforts from the sub-contractor workforce and the rest of the team on site really were the main factors that helped us to win this award.
"We took a new approach this year of focusing on basics at key stages and being more consistent and this has really paid off."
Both Mr Ingram and Mr Storey joined Countryside Homes seven years ago as assistant site managers, having previously completed Level 3 NVQ apprenticeships in carpentry.
They both recently completed their Level 6 NVQ in construction site management.
Countryside Homes is part of the Vistry Group, which also includes Bovis Homes and Linden Homes.
Verity MacMahon, managing director at Vistry Central Home Counties, said: "We are proud of the recognition Daniel, Kieron and the wider team at both sites have achieved by winning Pride in the Job awards this year.
"We wish them all the best of luck as they go forward to the next stage of judging."
The winners of Quality Awards are now entered into judging for the Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence and regional awards, which will be announced later in the year.
