Four teenagers have been arrested following a series of burglaries and criminal damage in an Essex town.

Essex Police reported three schools and two shops in The Stow, Harlow, were targeted by the youngsters and footage was shared on social media.

According to the police, the teenagers have been released on bail and cannot be named because of their ages.

Harlow's District Commander, Chief Inspector Paul Austin, said: "The team and I here at Harlow are absolutely dedicated to tackling this sort of behaviour, making swift arrests and identifying those responsible so that we can have a safer Harlow for everyone."

Ch Insp Austin has also asked for anyone with additional information about the offending to contact the force via 101.
