A 20-year-old man has been arrested after the stabbing at Highwood Lane, Loughton on Sunday August 4.
A teenage boy was taken to hospital following the stabbing, where he remains. His condition is not thought to be life-changing or life threatening.
The 20-year-old man in question has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of a bladed article. He has been released on bail until November 2.
The incident happened at 8:15am at Highwood Lane, Loughton on Sunday August 4.
Police are continuing to investigate.
