All lines have reopened after a person has been hit by a train between in Essex.
Greater Anglia reported the incident earlier this morning, saying police and Network Rail staff were on site between Waltham Cross and Tottenham Hale.
Train services running through these stations experienced delays, but are returning to the normal schedule as soon as possible.
The affected routes were Hertford East - Stratford, Bishops Stortford - Stratford and Meridian Water - Stratford.
A GA spokesman said: "Trains between Cambridge, Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street are not directly affected by this incident but may still be disrupted."
Information about the condition of the casualty has not been released yet.
The train operator will issue an update within the next hour while ticket holders are advised to check train service alterations.
