A NUMBER of dangerous driving incidents reported on the M11 for second consecutive day, bringing traffic to a stop.

On Tuesday July 23, police were alerted to several brightly coloured sports cars, believed to be Lamborghinis, coming to a complete stop on the northbound carriageway of the motorway, just before the junction 5 exit to Loughton.

The road was very busy at the time and concerned motorists have contacted police to report the incident.

Last night, Wednesday July 24, police were again alerted to similar behaviour from a number of cars, which had brought traffic to a stop.

Police are working with their National Highways colleagues and making contact with a number of motorists to gain their accounts of the behaviour they witnessed, including any dashcam footage which they have captured.

Sergeant Will Willsher said: “I can’t emphasise enough how dangerous the driving which has been described to us is.

“The people who are doing this are putting others at risk and that’s simply not acceptable.

“I would again ask anyone who hasn’t spoken to us yet but witnessed this incident, has details of the cars involved or has dash cam footage to contact us.”
