A number of sports car drivers have caused trouble on a major road in Essex as police have launched an investigation.
Drivers on the M11 in Loughton reported dangerous driving to the police today at around 5pm.
Essex Police were alerted to several brightly coloured sports cars, that are believed to be Lamborghinis.
According to the reports, the sports cars were coming to a complete stop on the northbound carriageway of the motorway, just before junction 5 exit to Loughton.
The road was very busy at the time and other drivers were concerned and reported the incident.
Roads Policing Sergeant Will Willsher said: “This is extremely dangerous driving and we are investigating this incident.
“Keeping people safe on our roads is a priority at Essex Police and we are committed to identifying those who put others at risk and bringing them to justice.
“We ask anyone who witnessed this incident, has details of the cars involved or has dash cam footage to contact us.”
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Essex Police as soon as possible, quoting incident 0898 of July 23.
