AN investigation has been launched after an 18-year-old teenager suffered two stab wounds.
Officers were called to an incident in Nicholls Field, Harlow, on May 10 at about 9pm following reports a young man had suffered stab wounds.
Police and paramedics arrived quickly at the scene to treat the injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, Essex Police has confirmed.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the incident to come forward with information.
Detective Inspector Karen Knibbs said: “ We believe this incident was witnessed by a number of people who may be able to assist us with understanding what happened.
“We’d also like to hear from anyone driving in or near Nicholls field at the time who has dashcam footage that may be useful to our investigation.
“I’d like to reassure the public that we do not believe there is a wider threat, and our officers have been patrolling that area throughout the weekend."
