A MAN was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in broad daylight, police have said.
Essex Police has launched an investigation into a “disturbance” in Waltham Abbey on Saturday afternoon.
Police officers were called to reports of a disturbance involving four men in Sun Street at about 12.20pm, the force said.
A police spokesman said: “One man was taken to hospital after he sustained several stab wounds to his back and leg. They are considered to be non-life-threatening injuries.
“Our inquiries continue and we would ask anyone who was in the vicinity at the time and who witnessed anything that could help our enquiry to contact us and quote crime reference 42/69971/24.”
