Students from an Epping school excelled at a Maths challenge recently.
Year 10 and 11 students from The Ongar Academy have shown exceptional talent by recently participating in the UK Maths Trust's Intermediate Maths Challenge, returning with 15 certificates.
Assistant headteacher and Maths lead Nikki Foster said: "Our students were very successful, achieving between them one gold, two silver and 12 bronze certificates.
"This is an amazing achievement and something all participants should feel exceptionally proud of."
The students took part in the 60-minute, 25 multiple choice challenge.
It was the first time the academy has taken part in a number of years.
