A CARE agency which is already dedicated to providing help to those in need all across the UK is expanding into Epping.
Live-in Care Direct provides support to residents living all over the country, including in cities such London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Swansea.
It supplies 24-hour care within the comfort of clients’ own homes - an alternative to having to move into a care facility.
Founder and chief executive Jason Russell, who lives in Epping, says the agency is now looking to provide services in his home town as well.
Entrepreneur Jason, 38, said: “We want to be the leading home care agency in Epping.
“We can undercut prices by about £400 a month from what people are currently paying.
“What gives us the edge is we’re always on a call - seven days a week, 8am to 10pm."
The agency’s journey started after Jason had difficulty finding suitable carers for his grandmother, who had liver cancer.
Since beginning about eight years ago, Jason says the agency has “grown really well”.
Jason added that, as he lives in Epping, he is also always available to help out when he is needed - be it helping with handovers or even visiting homes himself.
The agency, which strives to get a carer to a house within two hours of a call being made, currently has more than 40 carers in the Epping area.
Jason added: “We can do meets and greets, go above and beyond standard companies.
“Normally assessment is done online. But I can go there and do it manually with a colleague, if they haven’t got access to computers.
“It is about having that personal touch really in the area.”
Other Essex locations covered by Live-in Direct include Chigwell, Ongar, Chelmsford, Loughton, Billericay, Brentwood, Ingatestone and Romford.
