These pictures of Church Hill in Epping were taken 117 years apart.
Formally known as Maltman’s Path, the property on the far right of the picture is a good example of a 19th century villa in yellow brick under a hipped slate roof.
The substantial wrought iron railings have survived to this day. One of a number of properties locally listed in Epping.
