The Winston Churchill pub in Debden was built as part of the Debden Estate between 1947 and 1952.
Occupying a prominent position on the corner of the Broadway, it was named after Churchill who was MP for the Epping constituency from 1925-45.
Despite local opposition, it was demolished in 2014 to make way for luxury apartments.
