The Kings Head pub, North Chingford, from c1911.

Adorned with bunting, the pub is celebrating the coronation of George V and his wife Mary as King and Queen.

Dating back to at least 1782, the pub had strong connections with Chingford’s administration and law for generations.

From 1805 to 1840, the Manorial Courts and Vestry meetings were held at the King’s Head.
