Schools and parents “should be really proud” after pupils treated guests to a charity lunch.
Almost 100 people in Buckhurst Hill attended the parish council’s community lunch where fish and chips, tea, coffee, and cake was provided to attendees free of charge.
Students from Roding Valley High School, in Loughton, and councillors served while Loyola Preparatory School choir and singer Danny Litchfield provided the entertainment.

A raffle raised £175 for the parish council's chairman's chosen charities Noah's Ark Community Hub and the Rose Walton Centre.
Council chairman councillor Ken Williamson said: "Their parents and the schools should be really proud of them.
"I can’t wait for next year to see all those smiling faces again."
