Police have seized 75 e-scooters in a crackdown on town centre anti-social behaviour.
Essex Police have said the pedestrianised streets around Market Square, Broad Walk and the Water Gardens, in Harlow, have seen groups of public drinkers, nuisance behaviour, and illegal e-scooter riding.
Operation Shopper was launched after shoppers and businesses reported feeling uncomfortable.

As part of the operation, involving 250 hours of patrols, more than 100 alcoholic drinks have been seized along with 75 e-scooters.
Public consumption of alcohol is prohibited in Harlow town centre and riding privately owned e-scooters in public areas is illegal.
Chief Inspector Paul Austin said: “We’ve been really encouraged by the positive impact the operation is having and the response we’ve had from local people and businesses.”
