A man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping after a girl escaped being led away on a cycle track.
The girl reported a man trying to lead her away near to Hook Field and Rushes Mead, in Harlow, at around 5.30pm on November 7.
Essex Police confirmed the girl "thankfully" managed to get away unharmed.

A 30-year-old man from Harlow was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and possession of Class B drugs, as part of the police investigation.
The force have said he is currently in custody for questioning.
Detective Inspector Tony Atkin said: “We are continuing to support the girl and her family and ensure their welfare.
“Our investigation is progressing but I still need anyone who saw anything or has any footage from the area at the time who we’ve not spoken to to come forward."
