Plans for a garden town have been recognised with an award for high quality developments.
Harlow & Gilston Garden Town won in the Building Garden Communities category at the 2022 Essex Housing Awards on November 3.
The garden town project aims to support the delivery of 24,000 homes, promising a new vision for local transport.

The category recognises the “best new or planned garden communities from design to construction including zero carbon”.
Speaking from the awards stage at Greenwoods Hotel, Stock, director Naisha Polaine said: “This means such a lot to me and for all the Garden Town team.
“It is a unique partnership of five council partners showing civic leadership at its absolute best.”
