More than 500 jobs were up for grabs at a jobs fair held at London Stansted airport.
The airport hosted its third major fair on Tuesday (October 4), in preparation for Christmas and what is expected to be a busy 2023.
There were 25 companies at the airport offering a variety of roles including cabin crew, retail managers, engineers, chefs, drivers, check-in agents and customer service representatives.
Stansted has employed over 300 new colleagues into ints security operation since January, while airlines, ground handlers and retailers have recruited hundreds of new staff.
It is hoped that it can drive more recruitment into the airport as passenger numbers are set to increase this Christmas and next summer.
Marcella M’Rabety, MAG’s head of education, skills and employment, said: “An airport job is a perfect fit for people with strong people skills, drive for success, and an interest in building an exciting career in aviation.
“Airports offer loads of variety, bags of opportunity, and a fantastic team that is there to support you.”
