A nursery celebrated its 10th anniversary with a family fun day.
Chrysalis Nursery & Pre School in Loughton first opened its doors in August 2012, then operating from a site in Church Hill.
Since then, the business has grown to new sites at Lincoln Hall and one at Loughton Cricket Club, totalling 150 spaces.
The fun day included a bouncy castle, face painting, kite making, games, dance, and stalls with more than £600 raised for Haven House Children’s Hospice. Town mayor Cllr Barbara Cohen opened the event.
Kate Hersey, director at Chrysalis, said: “It has been a wonderful journey and I am proud of the amazing staff team we have formed who work tirelessly to offer fantastic childcare all year round to local people.
“We want to thank all our families who have been with us over the years and we look forward to providing childcare in Loughton for many more years to come.”
