Keen runners and anyone passionate about mental health will have an opportunity to get involved in fundraising on a Christmas elf themed run.
Mental health charity Mind in West Essex are already preparing to start fundraising over Christmas through their first festive fun run.
The 5K Mental Elf route is available to all,whether walking, jogging, or running, through Harlow Town Park, on Sunday November 20.

Mind in West Essex fundraising coordinator Jade Boulton said: “We think it will be a great opportunity for the local community to enjoy some light physical activity outside in nature while supporting us to raise vital funds.
“After everyone’s recent struggles with the Covid 19 lockdown we are just starting to see the effect this has had on people’s mental health.”
The race will start at 12pm, with registration at 11am and warmups at 11.45am.
The event will also include a Christmas marketplace and a range of competitions including best dressed pet and best dressed elf.
Ticket options both team and solo entries as well as discounted tickets for group purchases and early entries, a standard adult ticket costs £12.00.
The charity is also on the lookout for event sponsors to partner with.
