A teenage jet ski racer who only took up the sport in 2018 has been crowned British champion.
Now Alfie Fenwick, from Buckhurst Hill, will be heading to Arizona in the US in October to take part in the International Jet Sports Boating Association World Finals.
The 18-year-old, who started jet ski racing in 2019 having taken up the sport as a hobby in 2018, had a narrow lead after 17 Jet Sport Racing Association (JSRA) of Great Britain races all over the UK.

The final was on September 3 and 4 in Bawsey Park, Norfolk.
Mr Fenwick was on 749 points, the person second to him was on 733 points and the third was on 712 points.
He said: “The second and third were close to me, but I was confident in myself that I could win it.”
Alfie, who has just completed his A-levels, received the highest points, taking him into first position in his JSRA Spark class.
He said: “It was thrilling to win.
“I was very happy, and I felt I accomplished something. It was a great feeling overall.”
Mr Fenwick said he is looking forward to the competition in America.
