Two men have been charged in connection with a shooting that left a man in hospital.
The man was injured at an address in Crooked Mile, Waltham Abbey, at around 10pm on Tuesday, August 30.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries were not deemed as life-threatening by Essex Police.
Since the incident, enquiries have been ongoing involving officers from Essex and Kent.
Essex Police has now confirmed two men will stand trial following arrests.
Jordan Mckenzie-Pryce, 36 of Stock Lane, Ingatestone, Essex has been charged with possession of a shotgun with intent to cause fear of violence, conspiracy to commit kidnap, grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of criminal property.
Nathan Dale, 36 of Prospect Road, Barnet, north London, has been charged with conspiracy to commit kidnap, possession of a shotgun with intent to cause fear of violence, and grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both men appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on September 15 and are due at Chelmsford Crown Court on October 13.
