A gig celebrating one of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time will raise money for the National Jazz Archive at Loughton.
The National Jazz Archive, based in Loughton Library and supported by Essex County Council Libraries, is hosting the Nigel Price Organ Trio + Vasilis Xenopoulos, who will perform Wes: Reimagined, a tribute to the virtuoso Wes Montgomery.
The concert will take place at Loughton Methodist Church, 260 High Road, Loughton, Essex, IG10 1RB on Wednesday, August 31 at 7.30pm.
The Nigel Price Organ Trio comprises Nigel Price on guitar, Ross Stanley on B3 Hammond Organ and Joel Barford on drums, with guest star Vasilis Xenopoulos on tenor saxophone.
Tickets cost £20 and can be ordered by telephone from the National Jazz Archive between 10am and 10pm 020 8502 4701. Tickets may also be ordered online at tinyurl.com/nigelpriceorgantrio with the addition of a small booking fee.
