A school has raised over £7,000 towards a kitchen project to provide healthy home cooked meals for students, through its annual summer fair.
Pupils and parents enjoyed the sun as St John’s C of E Primary School, Buckhurst Hill, raised the money through its fundraising Summer Fayre.
The event featured stands and games including a penalty shootout against the teachers, pie in the face, hoopla, hook a duck, yoga, a raffle, and inflatables.

Head Teacher Jonathan Furness said: “This was a wonderful event which brought together the St John’s community for an afternoon of enjoyment for the whole family.
“The inflatables, musical performances and dance routine by our teaching staff were particular highlights.”
The event was sponsored by Loughton estate agents Savills.
