Two men were seriously injured in a fight in Harlow.
Police were called to the East Gate and Market Place area of the town at around 3.25am on Saturday (June 18).
One man suffered a head injury was taken to hospital.
Another sustained a broken leg. Essex Police said the 30-year-old man was taken to hospital as well but was also arrested on suspicion of affray. He has been bailed until July 15.
A 33-year-old was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has also been bailed until July 15.
Officers investigating the fight are studying CCTV, adding it is believed a number of people witnessed what happened.
A police spokesperson said: "We know there are a lot of people who will have seen what happened but were not involved in the incident or the disorder itself.
"We need them to come forward so we can identify them and find out what they saw."
