Four roads in Epping Forest are due to be temporarily closed for roadworks next month.
A notice from Essex County Council in this week’s edition of the Guardian details planned upcoming closures in Loughton, Lambourne, Roydon and Theydon Mount for works.
All temporary closure orders are valid for up to 18 months and the dates when the works will be carried out can vary and will be displayed on signs at or near the relevant location or on the one.network website.
A seven-day closure of Barncroft Close, Loughton, is due to begin on April 8 to enable blockage clearance works to be carried out.
The road is due to be shut from a point 90m north-west of its junction with Oakwood Hill for a distance of 15m in a north-easterly direction.
No diversion route will be available during this closure.
Hoe Lane, Lambourne, is set to be closed for two days from April 23 for water connection works.
The road is set to be shut from 260m south-east of its junction with New Road for a distance of 25m in a south-easterly direction.
The diversion will be via Hoe Lane, Manor Road, New Road and vice versa.
Power connection works are due to close Mount End Road, Theydon Mount, from a point 400m north-east of its junction with Mount Road for 80m in a north-easterly direction.
The closure is set to be in place for five days from April 25 and the alternative route will be via Banks Lane, Mount Road and vice versa.
Level crossing inspection works are due to cause a two-night closure from April 26 in High Street, Roydon.
The road is set to be shut from 12.55am to 4.35am from 70m north-west of its junction with The Granary to its east Hertfordshire border, a distance of 50m.
The diversion will be via High Street, Harlow Road, Roydon Road, Elizabeth Way, Edinburgh Way, A414 between northern town boundary and Burnt Mill roundabout, Station Approach, Fifth Avenue, Eastwick Road and vice versa.
