Epping High Street looking northwards around 1900.
The tall 200-year-old building on the left was formerly a school and Grade II-listed.
One of many listed buildings on the High Street, it has been the home of W E Cole menswear since the early 1930s.
The mode of transport may have changed but many of the buildings still remain.
