A motorcyclist has died after he crashed in the early hours of this morning (March 10).
The collision happened in Sewardstone Road in Waltham Abbey.
Essex Police says officers were called to the scene at 1.45am and confirmed the rider - a man in his 20s - died.
His family have been informed, police said.
An investigation has been launched by police into the fatal incident with officers appealing for witnesses.
Investigation work took place in Sewardstone Road in the hours after the collision but the road has now reopened.
With enquiries ongoing, anyone with information, CCTV, dashcam footage, or doorbell footage that could help police is being urged to get in touch.
