Drivers in and around Epping Forest will have 15 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And six of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M11, from 10pm November 24 2021 to 5am March 7 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M11 northbound and southbound, junction 7 to junction 8, Hard Shoulder Only for carriageway - Reconstruction/Renewal on behalf of Graham.
• M11, from 11pm December 9 2021 to 5am March 31 2022, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M11 northbound and southbound, junction 7 to junction 8 - Various lane closures, carriageway closures, narrows lanes and 50mph speed limit for drainage works on behalf of Highways England.
• A120, from 10pm November 24 2021 to 5am March 31 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M11 northbound and southbound,, junction 7 to junction 8 - carriageway closure for Construction - Bridge/Structure on behalf of Graham.
• A120, from 9pm February 15 to 5am July 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M11 northbound and southbound, junction 8 Stansted - exit slip road closures and 24/7 lane closures on slip road and roundabout for widening and junction improvement works on behalf of Essex County Council.
• M11, from 10pm January 31 to 5am October 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M11 northbound and southbound, junction 7 to junction 8 - carriageway closure for drainage works on behalf of Highways England.
And a further 10 closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M11, from 10pm February 21 to 6am March 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M11 southbound, junction 7 to junction 6 - Lane closures for drainage works on behalf of Highways England.
• M25, from 10pm February 21 to 5am February 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 27, carriageway and slip road closure for maintenance works, diversion via National highways network.
• M25, from 10pm February 21 to 6am February 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, carriageway and entry slip road closure for tunnel inspections, diversion via local authority network.
• M11, from 9pm February 24 to 5am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M11 northbound, junction 6A to junction 7 - Lane closure for communications on behalf of Ringway.
• M25, from 11pm February 25 to 5am March 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, Lane closures for boundary fence repairs.
• M25, from 10pm March 2 to 6am March 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M11 northbound, junction 6 to M25 anti-clockwise, junction 27, link road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways network.
• M25, from 10pm March 2 to 5am March 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 27 to junction 26, Lane closures for Speed Camera maintenance.
• M11, from 10pm March 3 to 6am March 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Lane closures and link road closure for communication works, diversion via National Highways Network.
• M25, from 10pm March 7 to 5.30am March 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 26 to junction 27, Lane closures for electrical works.
• M11, from 10pm March 7 to 5am March 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise and anti-clockwise, junction 27, Lane closures for area six works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
