Two former Premier League footballers are coaching and mentoring the next generation of young athletes.

Former Arsenal player Gavin Hoyte and ex-Wolves footballer George Elokobi are running sessions for clubs across the age groups of 9-11 at Chigwell School.

The scheme is being run by NSS Academy and also involves Brusk Simsek, who has worked for Arsenal and Tottenham, and Taylor Curran who played for Swindon.

NSS Academy co-owner Oliver Nada said: "The level of coaching our team provides through a detailed criteria George is going through with the boys has seen fantastic responses from the current teams joined. We can offer testimonials of their growth.

"What we offer uniquely is the Premier League quality coaching and mentorship that George has set out to deliver through a detailed criteria of coaching.

"Through his 20 years of experience across all leagues, as director of the project, I believe George to be one of the best mentors around. After a long successful career, George wants to share his wealth of knowledge and experience to as many kids he can teach.

"This alongside the platform of opportunity NSS can provide is what makes this project so uniquely special for the young athletes."
