The devastated owner of two puppies who were stolen in Waltham Abbey has pleaded for help tracking them down.
American XL bullies Storm and Athena, both eight months old, were taken from their kennel at the rear of the owner's property in Nazeing Road.
The theft was discovered around 5.30pm on Monday, January 24 after they were last fed at around 4pm.
The owners said: “The puppies are very valuable at around £3,000 each, but they are more than just a price to us.
"They are our beloved pets and part of our family.
"We are extremely upset that they aren’t here with us."
They added: "We want Storm and Athena back and hope that anyone who knows what has happened to them or can tell us where they are, contacts the police.”
Police said both are female and in season and urged anyone who has been offered them to get in touch.
They can be contacted online or via non-emergency number 101 quoting 42/22240/22.
Both dogs are microchipped.
