Church Hill looking towards Church Lane (formally Blind Lane) in Loughton c1905.
The weather boarded cottage was associated with the Old Forge.
The two chestnut trees in the front garden became street trees after redevelopment of the site in the 1990s.
Since this recent picture was taken, the surviving chestnut tree has been felled.
