Grants of up to £10,000 are available to help communities in west Essex celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee through culture and creativity.
The Essex Community Foundation (ECF) is one of the network of community foundations distributing the Arts Council England Let’s Create Jubilee Fund, a £5 million programme that will support community and voluntary organisations in England in developing creative and cultural activities as part of the nationwide celebrations in June.
The programme is made possible with funding from the National Lottery, and applicants will be able to apply for grants of up to £10,000.
They are encouraged to partner with established artists, creatives and cultural organisations to develop their activities, ensuring the Platinum Jubilee celebrations give people the chance to experience the best of the country’s culture while also celebrating an important milestone in our national history.
For more information and to apply for a grant, call Essex Community Foundation on 01245 356018 or visit www.essexcommunityfoundation.org.uk. The deadline for applications is February 28.
