We had a merry end to Santa's visit to all our hubs. So many happy, smiling children and parents. What an amazing treat for them. We gave out more than 300 presents, all donated by the community and organised by our tireless ambassador and Pearly Queen Teresa Watts. What a fabulous shinning star she is.
Teresa said: "Thinking of all the deprived kids waking up to amazing gifts and treasured memories. Happy Christmas and thank you again for all your incredible donations distributed to all the outlets for 3Food4U, a food bank like no other.
"The need for their vital service was brought home by a tearful mum whose child was overwhelmed with receiving a bag of toys.
"Thank you to Pesh Kapasiawala and his volunteers for working continuously for our deprived community."
