A Harlow woman has been sentenced for racial abuse and assault after she targeted two victims in Hertfordshire.
Colette Brinkley, of Milwards, threatened a person and used insulting words towards them which the court found were racially aggravated.
On the same day in May last year, together with another person she assaulted a woman by beating her in Welwyn Garden City.
The 38-year-old had pleaded not guilty to both charges but was found guilty.
She also admitted being in possession of cannabis the same day.
Brinkley was sentenced in Hatfield Magistrates' Court on Tuesday November 9, where she was given a community order and made to pay £965.
