Residents will be able to have their say on plans to build a new state of the art film studios in Broxbourne later this month.
The proposals for a £700million complex in Waltham Cross was announced in August, and received the backing of Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Sunset Studios is expected to be a 91-acre development built on land along the A10 Great Cambridge Road.
The new development will be operated by Los Angeles giants Sunset Studios, which manage almost half of all studio space in Hollywood.
The scheme has also been supported by the Leader of Broxbourne Council Lewis Cocking and the leader of Hertfordshire County Council Council, Richard Roberts.
Local people will now be able to give their feedback to the developers ahead of the plans being submitted to the council.
A public exhibition is set to be held at the Pavilions Shopping Centre on October 23, followed by an online exhibition on October 26.
Speaking about the exhibitions Erik Thoreen of Hudson Pacific Properties said: “This is the first step in our public consultation for the proposed studios, where we will be giving people information about exactly what a film studio looks like, some information about why the site has been chosen for Sunset Waltham Cross Studios and some ideas about our early thoughts for the planning application.
“This is very much about listening, so we really look forward to meeting as many people as possible – either in person or virtually – and hearing what
they have to say.”
The free exhibition at the Pavilions Shopping Centre will take place in a vacant unit opposite New Look.
Anyone wishing to attend the online exhibition will need to register at www.sunsetwalthamcrossstudios.co.uk.
The exhibitions form the first step of the consultation process, ahead of a planning application being submitted in 2022.
