Dancers aged 9-17 from Illusion Dance Academy took a trip up to London’s west end using a grant from Epping Forest Council.
The academy in Tidy’s Lane is run by professional teachers Stephanie Evans and Amy Jobling and was established in October 2010.
The youngsters from the school performed in Shaftesbury theatre on Saturday night (11 September). They performed two routines in tap and modern and were warmed up by a West End star.
The school used money granted to them by Epping Forest Council which helped pay for their costumes and transport.
Stephanie Evans, 34, principle at Illusion Dance Academy said: “It was an amazing day the girls loved every minute of it.
“Their parents went along to watch them too and they were so pleased with them.
“I am very proud of all of our students, they put a smile on everyone's faces.”
