The news of your mums death in May has only just crossed my horizon and I am so very sorry and incredibly sad to now know that she eventually lost her courageous battle, and that she is no longer with us.
She was a remarkable lady in many ways, and she encouraged and supported me through my own fight with the evil disease, 2 years ago, with regular emails and cheery words.
She, and your dad, Peter, will remain in my heart forever, for being the very special people and true friends that they were.
My love and condolences to you and your families.
Elaine, previously of Waltham Abbey...you will remember me as the lady who brought the art materials to your dad.
