PATIENT, Iris Jessica (nee Brewster) June 1 1922 – July 24 2015 Passed away peacefully at the age of 93, pre-deceased by her cherished husband Bob. Iris will be dearly missed by her children Michael (Susan), Robert (Heather), and Linda (John). She was a wonderful and doting grandmother to Carol, Richard, Alison, Andrew, Ian, Joanna, Katherine, Louise, Christopher and Elizabeth. She also leaves a legacy of love to her great grandchildren who will know her through the memories carried by the older generations. She is also survived by nieces and nephews with whom she had a very warm relationship. Iris cherished her family, her friends and neighbours and her garden. She was a wonderful storyteller and kept her grandchildren amused with some unique and mesmerising tales. Rarely did she consider her own needs. Her focus was always on what she could do for others. We wish to sincerely thank the caring and attentive staff at Frank Foster House, Theydon Bois who were so good to her throughout her stay there. The funeral will take place at Parndon Wood Crematorium, Harlow, at 10.45am on the 10th August followed by a memorial service at Loughton Methodist Church at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please.
