ROOT, Antony John 18th February 1930 - 24th January 2013 A huge handsome man, dad to five, Grandad and Pop to seven, Great Grandfather to nine, Father to eighty six foster children, SIR to hundreds of air cadets for forty years. Tony, beloved husband of Kathleen (ex H.T Old Ford School). Married for sixty years, Diamond anniversary 17th January 2013. Motor Neurone Disease so cruelly debilitating until immobile and speechless. Rest in "peace and quiet" my darling. No-one could ever forget YOU. Reunited with son Joe, grandson Nicky, brother Griff and all the family. All welcome to wave Tony good bye on his final flight as he slips the surly bonds of earth.
