A HARLOW businesswoman, who finished her The Apprentice journey in the top five, receives support from her hometown community.

Victoria Goulbourne, Megan Hornby and Dani Donovan from Essex narrowly missed the opportunity to reach the finale on BBC's show The Apprentice.

They haven't passed the last part of the interrogation.

Lord Alan Sugar, during the show's quarter-final episode, said: "Coming back to you, Dani, your business plan was really, really bad, and you know that."

"It’s been nice working with you; you’re a real bubbly character.

"Dani, it is with regret - you’re fired."

Although the businesswoman from Harlow didn't succeed at getting hired as an apprentice, she's coming back to her hair salon Mermane in Hertfordshire.

Back in Harlow, Dani, the former St Mark’s pupil, has been getting a lot of support from the school's community.

Her former teachers remember her very fondly.

Therefore, she will be returning to the school as a guest of honour at the Year 11 Leaver’s Assembly later this month.

Dani has also been given support from the Over 50’s Line Dance class at the Paringdon Club, which is led by her very proud mum, Cherie.
