Roads in Epping and Waltham Abbey are among those set to be temporarily shut for roadworks over the coming weeks.
The closures are detailed in a notice from Essex County Council in this week’s edition of the Guardian.
All temporary closure orders are valid for up to 18 months and the dates when works are carried out is subject to change.
Western Avenue, Epping, is set to be shut from its junction with Centre Drive for a distance of 30pm in a north-westerly direction from July 6 for three days for blockage clearance works.
The alternative route will be via Centre Drive (with access only onto Western Avenue) and vice versa.
Mott Street, Waltham Abbey, is due to be closed from its junction with Sewardstone Road to its junction with Lippitts Hill, a distance of 1110m, from July 11 for five days for carriageway patching works.
The diversion will be via Mott Street, Cross Roads, Robin Hood Roundabout, Epping New Road, Wake Arms Roundabout, Woodridden Hill, Honey Lane, Volunteer Roundabout, Dowding Way, Sewardstone Road Roundabout, Sewardstone Road and vice versa.
