A lorry has burst into flames on the M11, causing severe delays on the northbound carriageway.
The motorway is blocked by the fire and billowing smoke, between junction seven in Hastingwood and junction eight in Bishops Stortford.
Essex Fire and Rescue Service has sent three fire engines to the scene.
Update: The fire has been extinguished, severe delays remain.
